The prayer in Hebrew reads:
"In the name of the Lord, the God of Israel, may Michael be at my right; Gabriel at my left; before me, Uriel; behind me, Raphael; and above my head the divine presence of God."
This blessing is taken from the prayer "Kriat Shema" at bedtime and is a benediction for protection and preservation and an appeal for blessings upon us.
